MAP DATA NOTICES OpenStreetMap geographic features are provided by the OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL): https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/ Coastline and beach geometry used by hi-ti is approximate mapped context. It is not a surveyed shoreline or a measured current tide waterline. Mapzen terrain tiles are hosted as public data on Amazon S3 and assembled by the Tilezen Joerd project from regional and global sources. They contain historical mixed-resolution terrain, including radar surface heights and coarse bathymetry. hi-ti samples raw terrain values and calculates local height differences. Its optional camera-height suggestion adds an assumed 1.6 metre eye height. It does not convert these map heights to LAT or MSL, infer the photographed water level, or represent the result as a survey. No contributor endorses these modifications.
